Overview

EM6098A-SL is a 150 °C low-smoke halogen-free, irradiation cross-linked thin-wall automotive cable compound. It offers excellent oil and scrape resistance with good mechanical and tear strength, passes the single-conductor vertical flame test, and suits EV internal high-voltage feeder cables and thin-wall automotive wire below 6 mm², meeting ISO 6722-1:2011 and QC/T 1037-2016.

Key features

  • 150 °C thin-wall automotive grade for ≤ 6 mm² wire
  • Excellent oil resistance and scrape / abrasion resistance
  • High elongation after irradiation (528%)
  • Targets ISO 6722-1:2011 and QC/T 1037-2016
  • For EV internal high-voltage feeder cables

Typical applications

EV internal high-voltage feeder cables Thin-wall automotive wire (≤ 6 mm²) Wiring harnesses requiring oil and scrape resistance High-temperature automotive electrical connections
