Rail Transit & Marine LSZH Cable
High flame-retardant, low-smoke halogen-free and oil-resistant compounds with sheathing and cabling lines for rail and marine cables.
What this application demands
Rail and marine cables run through enclosed, occupied spaces where a fire must produce minimal smoke and no corrosive gas — and where vibration, oil and moisture are constant. LSZH supplies high flame-retardant, low-smoke halogen-free and oil-resistant compounds, with the sheathing, cabling and cross-linking equipment to build cables for these demanding environments.
Stringent fire safety
Trains, metros and ships require low smoke, low toxicity and no corrosive halogen gas, with bundled-cable flame performance such as IEC 60332-3 Category B.
Oil, fluid and moisture resistance
Cables face lubricants, fuels and humidity; insulation and sheaths must resist swelling and property loss in service.
Mechanical and vibration endurance
Continuous vibration and handling demand robust mechanical strength, elongation and abrasion resistance.
Temperature and reliability
Cross-linked 125–150 °C grades deliver the thermal endurance and long-term stability these long-life assets require.
Compounds for this application
HZDFR4100 supports IEC 60332-3 bundled-burning sheathing; HZD2820-G and HZD2720-G provide high flame-retardant VW-1 insulation; HZD2720-EV adds oil resistance for rolling-stock cables.
