HZD1600
125 °C halogen-free flame-retardant heat shrink tube compound

Overview
HZD1600 is a fully halogen-free, 125 °C irradiation cross-linked flame-retardant heat shrink tube master compound developed for increasingly strict environmental regulations. Based on a polyolefin matrix with inorganic flame retardants, it is colourable and produces UL / CSA and UL224 tubing with low smoke, low toxicity and no corrosive halogen gas — for cable joints, terminations, component insulation and bundling.
Key features
- Halogen-free, low smoke and low toxicity
- 125 °C irradiation cross-linked, FT2 flame rating
- Inorganic flame-retardant system, colourable
- Suitable for UL / CSA and UL224 heat shrink tubing
- Runs best on a low-compression halogen-free screw
