Overview

XD2200 is a 125 °C low-smoke halogen-free flame-retardant wire and cable compound. Colourable and polyolefin-based, internally mixed and pelletized, it is widely used for cable insulation and jackets and has passed environmental testing to the latest RoHS and REACH requirements.

Key features

  • 125 °C low-smoke halogen-free, FT2 flame rating
  • RoHS and REACH compliant
  • Low brittleness temperature (< -40 °C)
  • High volume resistivity for stable insulation
  • Colourable, for insulation and jackets

Typical applications

Wire and cable insulation Cable jackets and sheaths Low-smoke halogen-free building and electronic wire General-purpose flame-retardant wiring
